Oblate Taizé Practice Group (Feb)

The Oblate Taizé Practice Group gathers monthly for a prayer service in the Taizé tradition. Through repeated simple songs, periods of silence, scripture, candlelight, and icons, we seek to encounter the divine in community and hold the needs of the world in prayer. Rooted in Benedictine values of prayer, hospitality, and attentiveness to God’s presence, these gatherings offer a peaceful space for reflection and connection.
All who seek a time of peace, prayer, and reflection are welcome to sing along, join the accompaniment, or pray in silence. Our music is offered as prayer, not as a performance. We currently meet on the fourth Thursday of each month and will move to the fourth Tuesday beginning in October 2026.
The prayer service is held from 6:30–7:15pm You are also invited to join the Sisters for Evening Prayer at 5:00pm. Dinner follows at 5:30pm. If you would like to join the community for dinner, a $15 donation to help cover food expenses is appreciated.
