Anger tends to flash with hot intensity and can burn long after it has served its most noble role. Sadness, it seems, can burn too far out and leave us far beyond the ordinary chill of loss and sadness. God-given feelings of anger and sadness do serve a good purpose. What are some ways we might learn to turn toward them, when appropriate, or move away from them if that would better serve our growth? How might we tell the difference?  And what confidence might I expect to gain through experience?
