CANCELLED-Who Am I in Community? The Enneagram as a Tool for Improving Relationships

It can come as a shock to realize the people with whom we exercise community do not always share our perspective. Whether we bump up against this fact as a parent, spouse, or co-worker, we have two options. We can either try to force others to our point of view or try the more successful approach of seeking to understand. It is in seeking to understand that the Enneagram tool becomes helpful. The Enneagram is one way to explain and better understand nine basic personality differences that people have observed since ancient times. These differences shape our spiritualities, our vocations, and even our approach to relationships. By better understanding how each of us uniquely reflects the divine image, we can better practice compassion for ourselves and one another. Join Audrey Lucier, Director of the Franciscan Spirituality Center in La Crosse, to learn ways to grow in wholeness, and to become more aware, accepting, and appreciative of the gifts and challenges of the personalities in our communities. This retreat begins with supper and includes both an introduction to the Enneagram for those new to the tool and practical application for improving relationships that will be helpful for those already familiar. Participants will be invited to complete an online assessment in advance.
