Grounded in the Gospel of Luke, this gentle two hour “mini-retreat” invites participants to a time of contemplation, guided meditation, journaling and ritual to help us open our hearts to Emmanuel, God with us. This is an opportunity to take time away from the stress and busyness of the holidays and enter into the joy and mystery of our sacred stories.

Peter Watkins
Peter Watkins, M.Div. is a certified spiritual director and retreat leader at the Benedictine Center. He holds a certificate in spiritual direction from Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality where he teaches and accompanies people through the Ignatian Exercises. He is a life-long runner, father of three sons, and a bluegrass banjo player.
